Born
in Frankfurt, Germany in 1960 when his father worked with the United
States Government, Steve has been a life-long resident of the Commonwealth
of Virginia. He attended Fairfax County Public Schools and received
a B.S. degree in Biology from George Mason University. Interested
in photography since his mid teens, it was not until after graduation
from college that Steve seriously persued his passion for documentary
photography with the practical need for livelihood by working as an
official photographer for diverse organizations such as various cultural
exchange groups and The National Gallery of Art.
